Alaska Birch bowl with caribou antler finial
This bowl was turned from a beautiful piece of Alaska Birch and was sold last year to a collector. The Caribou is one of the great symbols of Alaska with herds collectively numbering nearly 700,000. Occasionally, I will use a small piece of Caribou bone as the finial for a lid. If you would like a lidded bowl with a Caribou finial, I am sure I can find a suitable piece for your bowl.
