Family salad bowl – Alaska Birch

This spalted Alaska Bowl salad bowl has been in process for over 18 months.  From the cutting and drying process to turning, sanding and finishing, it is now ready. Since I never cut a living Birch tree, all of the wood used will show beautiful grains and unique coloring and spalting, to some degree.  This bowl measures just over 12″/31cm diameter and almost 4″/10cm high and should make a beautiful bowl for your table.  Included are a salad fork and ladle by local woodworking firm, Alaska Birchcraft.  Guaranteed for life, it’s truly one-of-a-kind piece for your family.
