Yarn Bowl – Birchbark
This Alaska Yarn bowl is particularly striking in color pattern as it has streaks of black, grey and white so I called it ‘Birchbark’. Since we never cut a living tree, the wood we use comes from a dying tree so the water staining or spalting, as it’s called, has begun. This yarn bowl, while different from every other, is still sized to hold a ball or skein of yarn.
